Induced pluripotent stem cells (iPS cells, iPSC) are a type of pluripotent stem cell (PSC) realized by artificially expressing specific transcription factors and reprogramming somatic cells to an early stage of development. iPSC is used not only in regenerative medicine research but also in basic research on development and in drug discovery research.
Y-27632
It is a selective and potent inhibitor of ROCK (Rho-associated coiled-coil forming kinase/Rho binding kinase).Y-27632 has a variety of activities including vascular smooth muscle contraction through the ROCK signaling (Ki = 140 nmol/L p160ROCK). This product has been reported to suppress death of human ES cells and human iPS cells at the time of cell dispersion, and also improves viability of the cells after cryopreservation.

Animal-free Cytokines
