Sample Buffers
These products are sample buffers for SDS-PAGE. FUJIFILM Wako has a line up of sample buffers with or without a reducing agent.
Usage
Sample buffers without a reducing agent
For Sample Buffer Solution (2ME-) (×4)
- Mix the sample and this product in a 3:1 ratio (liquid volume ratio).
- Add 2-mercaptoethanol or dithiothreitol at a final concentration of 5 v/v% or 50 mmol/L, respectively.
- Boil the mixture at about 90℃ for 5 minutes and perform electrophoresis.
Sample buffers with a reducing agent
For Sample Buffer Solution with 3-Mercapto-1,2-propanediol (×4)
- Mix the sample and this product in a 3:1 ratio (liquid volume ratio).
- Boil the mixture at about 90℃ for 5 minutes and perform electrophoresis.
