Hay fever and house dust allergies are well known, but fungi (mold) are also an important allergen. Mold spores and their metabolic products floating in the air can cause allergic symptoms such as asthma and allergic rhinitis when inhaled.

Alternaria: Has been reported to be associated with the onset and exacerbation of asthma.
Aspergillus: Known as a cause of allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis and is also a risk factor for chronic respiratory diseases.

ITEA Inc. provides extracts derived from these fungi, available in two product lines: lyophilized products (containing preservatives) and frozen solutions (0.2 µm filtered, no preservatives).

These products can be used for various applications, including ELISA-based evaluations, cell stimulation tests, and allergy research using model mice.
They manufacture its products with meticulous care under the supervision of experts, leveraging extensive experience and highly precise measurement techniques. Lyophilized Crude extracts

These are lyophilized crude extract made from mold powder containing both mycelium and spores. Reconstitute the lyophilizate in 1mL of distilled water to make a phosphate buffered saline (PBS) solution (pH7.4).

Why is filtration used in the extraction process?
The purpose of filtration varies depending on the pore size of the filter used. 0.45 µm filter is used to remove impurities, while a 0.2 µm filter is used to filter out microorganisms and other small particles.
Do the preservatives in the extract affect the ELISA measurement system?
We add Proclin® 950 as a preservative, but it does not affect the enzymes typically used in ELISA.
Are the extracts (freeze-dried products) soluble in purified water?
Yes, they are completely soluble. When dissolved, they become phosphate-buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.4).However, some cloudiness may occur.
For products that do not specify allergen concentrations or total protein concentrations, can you tell me those concentrations?
