Cyclodextrin Polymers (CDP)
Cyclodextrin polymer (CDP) is a three-dimensionally cross-linked compound that has both solubility in water and organic solvents. CDP is employed in a lot of fields due to high adsorption of SDS, polyphenols, flavonoids, and indoles.
Features
- Soluble in both aqueous and organic solvents
- Allows selective inclusion of light organic molecules
- Gradually releases compound trapped in the inclusion complex
- Allows easy release of trapped compounds within methanol and other organic solvents
