T-cell dependent antibody response (TDAR) Test ELISA Kits
The T-cell dependent antibody response (TDAR) test evaluates immune function by administering an antigen known to elicit an antibody response. The LBIS™ Rat KLH-IgG ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of Anti-KLH-IgG titer. It can be used for T-cell dependent antibody response (TDAR) test.
What is T-cell dependent antibody response (TDAR) test?
The T-cell dependent antibody response (TDAR) test evaluates immune function by administering an antigen known to elicit an antibody response. It measures IgM production following the primary antigen exposure and IgG production due to class switching after secondary stimulation. Commonly used antigens include keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH) and sheep red blood cells (SRBC). According to the ICH-S8 guideline on immunotoxicity testing of pharmaceuticals, TDAR is recommended when the immunotoxic target of a compound has not been clearly identified1).
